If
you find that your dog will not stop barking at the moment
then you may want to stop your dogs chronic barking as soon
as possible. However, before you do so you first have to
identify the reasons behind the barking. There can be any
number of reasons as to why your dog barks constantly and so
it can be a little tiresome trying o pinpoint just one but
there are a few signs that point to one or another,
especially if your dog is ill. If you can find out whether
he or she is ill then you can stop your dogs chronic barking
in no time.
Illness is one of the reasons behind chronic barking but it
is not one of the most common. As a result, it is easier to
tell whether or not that is problem. For example, your dog
may normally not bark as much. He or she may bark around
sustained loud noises or if disturbed. It may be at certain
times of the day or night and your dog may not want to be
touched or, alternatively, may be extra cuddly. If he or she
has been acting strangely then he or she may be ill and it
will be easier to stop your dogs chronic barking than if
there were some other reason behind it.
If
you think for one minute that your dog is ill then you
should take him or her to the vet’s immediately. The vet
will be able to offer a diagnosis and a cure, which will in
turn stop your dogs chronic barking. This is a rare cause of
sustained barking but it is not out of the realms of
possibility so eliminate this cause first before moving onto
another to stop your dogs chronic barking.
